There’s more, but this is the part I’m referencing. “OM” as a symbol of the sacred and divine. The positive that you strive for and hope to reach – but somehow you keep getting less. “Om-.” You might think, “but close is still good,” and keep chugging along. But nothing gets better, no matter how hard you try.
Then you come across the idea that those whose languages are written away from the heart (left to right) were given lies, and those whose languages are written towards the heart (right to left) were given the truth.
You were reading the symbol backwards the whole time – it isn’t “Om-“. It’s “-Om.” What existance has for you isn’t a little less than the divine, it is the opposite of the divine. That is what you get.
