Here’s something I didn’t need to happen. I guess if one rubber boot goes, the heat from the stuck caliper will cook the other boots as well. This is seized solid, I hope O’reilly’s will take it as a core because I’m in it for a new caliper now. My truck’s rear brakes have been a disaster this year. Things are failing that I could have caught if I’d known better, but I’m not a pro, just a guy who’s had to learn as he’s gone along. So, here’s a new learning experience for me, and more time and money down the drain.
It’s nice to see 4 likes on M.3R and M.4R pg 55 at least. Don’t think I don’t notice – I need every ray of sunshine I can get. I was thinking about throwing caution to the wind last night and buying a scanner, but the money I shouldn’t have spent on a scanner is going into a new caliper now.
I’ve managed to get a little further on the Kowai Hokkaido drawing – I wonder if AI can ink a bad photograph of a sketch? Looks like we’ll be finding out.
