Above is the “easy listening” version of “Sunset Red.” Below is the original version, which has a different ending featuring a distorted guitar sound. The entry is a little harsh and I don’t think most people will like it. I’ve toned it down from what Udio originally made, which was much louder. The following guitar sound is what hooked me on this generation though. It’s another good example of what I would consider to be “the sound” for this band.
I tried generating new entries for the distorted guitar section. They were o.k., but Udio didn’t find the magical balance between entering hard and easy listening. Treblo might be able to do better – it’s as good as Udio was in some ways. The sound is different, some people won’t like it – especially the ones who fell in love with Udio’s 1.0 sound. Not because Treblo is bad, or Udio’s 2.0 sound was bad either, but some people will lock into one thing and never like anything else that is also good.
